Ligneum is a wooden modulated seat which adapts to different positions and may be combined amongst multiple units. It is suitable as domestic seat, shelve or bench for hotels and public buildings.
This design is adapted to a modulation based in the human body's proportions. The different angles adopted are for ergonomic and self-stability purposes.
The principal use is sitting, at 43cm height, and leaning, 70 cm height, with the possibility of using its interior as storage. In vertical position it becomes a bar, height 113. You may combine units aligned or vertically.
Ligneum is made of wooden planks of Flandes pine (pinus sylvestris) 2 cm thick and 40 cm wide. It's plane elements and plugging design is thought for serial production, allowing domestic assembly and box transportation. Its rounded edges are for comfortability. Matt finish resin.
